I worked at Sun Life full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Brand, collaborative leaders, culture, bonuses based on performance. Many positions offer work from home flexibility.

    Cons

Work/life balance. Meeting all day everyday. Everyone is spread thin. Budgets get reduced year over year while initiatives aren’t supported to eliminate waste at the same degree. It’s fine to prioritize appropriately, but if you’re initiative doesn’t make the cut, you’re not supported and your budget is not adjusted.
