I worked at Supermacs full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Staff feel more like family rather than colleges, most managers are kind and try their best to create a nice armosphere. The level of hygine is the highest I've ever seen.

    Cons

I wouldn't recommend this job if you're looking for a career. The higher management aren't nice to work with most of the time and usually they don't care enough about you to remember your name. Most of the time you feel as if you're doing the job of another person on top of your own. 50 cents per hour is deducted from wages for "Staff food" to a value of 7.50 which doesn't get you much. This adds up to about a grand per year for a full time employee. Voids to your contract are often made by management. The staff turnover is astronomical, when I worked there, about 50 people in and out within a year. Customers have told me that they notice the constant change in staff and feel bad for putting money into the company if they're clearly not treating their employees cortectly. Management constantly tried to get people to upsell and provide great customer service which is very difficult to do as if an employee is being treated incorrectly, how are they even slightly motavated to put money into the company. Shift managers only got 15 cents per hour increase from a general employee. Very little training is provided while being expected to preform non-trained tasks. Every manager will tell you to do something differently and when you do something that is "wrong" in the eyes of another manager, you're given out to, even though that's how you were thought. The till system is very difficult to use and often crashes in the miss of taking an order. Everyone I worked with, included myself we're looking for a new job while working for Supermac's. Most of the staff are left depressed as there is absolutely no thanks for the very hard work being preformed. I worked in a franchsed store and I believe this is part of the reason for the terrible working conditions.

I worked at Supermacs full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Flexible working hours, job is not hard, you can't be bored there... can't find any more, really... I hardly tried.

    Cons

Bullying, low pay, forcing to eat staff food as they deduct money from wage anyway (fast food everyday is not healthy), deduct money for uniform, problem with holidays... I can write a book about it :/
