I recently moved outlets based on a notice in my payslip and have taken on new responsibilities. The opportunities are definitely there if you are willing to move to other parts of the country.

    Cons

Moving to another part of the country is a big decision for a lot of people.

I have been working at Supermacs full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Fast paced. Team orientated. Fun environment with colleagues. Interact with public. meeting new people. High quality product. high cleaning standards.

    Cons

Cutting labour costs is prioritised so expect to be short staffed most of time. Very little encouragement from upper management when you do well, expect to hear everything you've done wrong though. Demands a lot of your time. work life balance is non existent. Unsocial hours.

I have been working at Supermacs part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Friendly staff Improve customer service skills Support Network They are really flexible about holidays and days off, if requested in advance Managers protect staff if there's rude/drunk customers being aggressive

    Cons

Food isn't free. We feel obliged to take anything because they charge you for food even if you don't take it. (around 80 euros a month - 20 euros weekly) Late Shifts (sometimes we finish at 12am, sometimes at 2am) Sometimes we clock out around 2am and need to go back there at 12pm We pay 3 euros for uniform weekly Some managers may be good with tills and HACCP, but they're not nice to people, even if they're have just started Sometimes shop is really busy and there's not enough staff, they want to save money but make everything so stressful.
