I worked at TMP Worldwide full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

I was at TMP for 9 years and it was a FANSTATIC company to work for! Management was always willing to help further your career within the company. Benefits were PHENOMENAL! Work/Life balance is amazing!

    Cons

It's advertising so there are some late nights or early mornings but all in all that is normal in the advertising industry.

    Cons

Defining roles and the path for growth needs improvement.

I worked at TMP Worldwide full-time for more than a year

    Pros

As a company specializing in brand development/talent acquisition (creative services and software), they did have their advertising and HR game on point. The offices were pleasant enough for an open-system, and there were plenty of staff events and employee perks. The benefits were decent.

    Cons

So much work was contracted, where no-one had any idea how it would be achieved. Some departments enjoyed a lot of slack while others had zero work/life balance.

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at TMP Worldwide full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Your colleagues, not the management, make it bearable to get through the day. The "regular" people are the smart creative ones while everyone else above you takes the credit. If that's what you are looking for, godspeed.

    Cons

Long hours, worked to the bone and horrible salary. It is not easy to move up the ladder unless you form friendships with your supervisors. If you get on anyone's bad side, you won't move up.....ever. Especially if the CEO doesn't like you, you might as well just quit. A lot of the credit is given to the people above you when it's the lower ones doing all of the grunt work to make it successful. There is a lot of over promising to their clients and not enough thought about what it takes to actually pull something off. The turn around time they provide to the client is unrealistic. They just want money from their clients so they will say yes to anything. This money does not flow through to the employees who actually do the work.TMP is a recruitment agency that cannot even retain their own talent. GO FIGURE.

    Pros

Salary - that is really the best part of the job. I wish I had more to say, but I don't. Please don't work for this company.

    Cons

management, if your not part of the 'inner circle' look out. It doesn't matter what you know, if it doesn't come from someone in the circle, it doesn't mean anything.

I have been working at TMP Worldwide

    Pros

There is a lot of comradery within individual departments and creates a good sense of "team" in approaching projects and learning from one another. Also, the benefits are great. You're expected to work hard and challenge yourself which keeps you interested and focused on continuous achievement.

    Cons

Majorly sales-focused. Shifting some of that focus to service would help accounts grow and create long-term goals. Training and development is a kind of weak - it would be nice to have more mentor-style working groups.
