Pros

Talented co-works who are great to work with. The product is amazing and start to get high distribution across the US. New beautiful office. Very interesting and challenging work!

Cons

Its a startup, so if you prefer a quiet 9-5 job its not for you. You sometimes need to work in unconventional hours or do unconventional tasks, but this how to work in a very dynamic environment.

Pros

You'll work in San Francisco in a fast paced exciting space for a company that has the potential to be wonderful. In a startup environment you will find yourself handling a lot of responsibilities, and wearing many hats.

Cons

You will quickly find that this company is run by people who have no idea what they are doing. There is a major lack of transparency and culture, which is extremely damaging given the amount of employees. Employees have been constantly shifted and projects have been re-prioritized with zero focus.

Pros

You'll be exposed to hard work that requires original thinking and excellent problem solving skills.

Cons

Most of management served in the Israeli Defense Force as Intelligence Officers prior to their current positions, and haven't been properly groomed to run a company from a product, financial, and personnel perspective. Transparency is a low priority to management, which causes a lot of internal gossip and distrust among co-workers. Employees are considered expendable, as I've watched numerous hard-working and talented individuals walk away from Tapingo after being burnt out and mistreated. New hires are made by people with no prior hiring experience. New hires won't even come from a similar field of expertise for a very specialized role. Appearances are more important than the actual output of your work. You'll receive requests to stay in-office into late hours without any project assignment. Because there is no HR department, grievances cannot be aired in a professional setting. Culture is non-existent. Management doesn't want to do any team building exercises or activities that may strengthen employee collaboration and communication. They leave it to the employees to organize these events and don't provide company funds. Communication and internal process is non-existent. If someone from the management staff wants something built, they make the request directly to the subordinate without following any protocol. The outcome is a new feature no one knew about, strategized about, or tested being built and distributed. This theme applies to all aspects of the company. No perks. Literally, there are no perks at Tapingo. They're a mobile food ordering company that can deliver credit to their employees at-will for a couple meals a month. They won't do it. Unclean. The office in San Francisco wouldn't spend the money to have cleaning personnel work on the premises on a daily basis. This resulted in overflowing garbages, a sink being filled with dirty dishes, a dirty bathroom, and a stench in the shared kitchen. I haven't seen anything like this since college. No reward for hard work. No annual reviews. The list goes on and on...
