Pros

Globally standardised business and operational models incorporating innovation and best practice Committed to developing talent globally, regionally and locally. Good customer focus. Good systems. Good business focus, with clear directions.

Cons

Global structure can drive repetitive workloads into local environments and sometimes competing interests are not value add to the site. If a business environment does not suit the standardised global business model, little effort is made to understand the details, which can lead to repetitive justification.

Pros

Good for acquiring work experience, enjoyed working with good people for a very long time, more like family now. Enjoyed doing my job.

Cons

Main concern for this company is the fairness of paying the right salary. Seems like Techs and production line people are not getting the pay they deserve. We are the back bone of the company please pay us right.

Pros

If you absolutely need a full time job and you’re not a complete moron, they will give you one; with benefits. If you have good luck with raffles and can come up with the most amazing Halloween costume, you may win big at a company party.

Cons

Where to begin…oh yea at the top. Please keep in mind, this is specific to the Roseville site only. Biggest con of all…..the false sense of being able to work your way to the top, a con in all sense of the word. If you are not a man (emphasis on the man) or a member of the well know “boys club” you will get nowhere. The false sense of caring at the very top is pure propaganda, don’t fall for it. As another review mentions, promotion is based on who you know and not what you do. Program Management are puppets of the Senior Leadership Team, all of which are men, quite a bit of chauvinist ones at that (it’s not common to hear of sexual harassment, gender/sexual discrimination or derogatory references toward women from the guys on top). If you’re a woman please be prepared for blatant lack of respect and don’t expect to be seen as an equal or competent. Leadership clearly does not have the prowess to cut the cancer, analyze the worth of the top paid employees or the know how to work to create a respectable, innovative, positive management team. Management runs wild upon its own free will. Whether that will be; never showing up to work, having it out for someone they don’t like or puffing their feathers around the warehouse to fill their own shallow souls. The company has great potential to be successful not only in the way it treats employees but in it’s position as a tech company in a prime location (close to Silicon Valley and in the heart of a growing industrial location) with capability to lend itself to the ever changing electronic industry. How does an entire site become dependent on one large business when there are a plethora of existing electronic companies not far away? If only there were influencers and innovators to kick start the top!
