    I have been working at Telstra full-time

    Pros

    25% Staff discount, though that only eliminates the Telstra tax and brings it on par with other providers.

    Cons

    Big organisation, big hierarchy, lots of red tape. Little opportunity for career development. Full of people chasing redundancy. Plenty of praise for Superman, that comes in and saves the day. Very little praise for hard workers that don't causes outages.

      Pros

      Excellent employee perks and opportunities, including a work phone, iPad, laptop, parking for eligible staff and career progression. Market competitive salaries and sales commissions. The roll-out of a company wide digitisation strategy will simplify roles and make it easier to work with our customers and partners. Recent executive leadership appointments will also mean a positive change for the company's future.

      Cons

      The usual pitfalls of working in a large organisation, such as internal processes, systems, compliance and governance red-tape. Recent changes and reorganisation of the company has meant that many teams are under-resourced and roles are being stretched which has had a detrimental impact to team culture and morale.
