I have been working at The Hershey Company full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Flexible hours, low stress, ability to run your own territory, well known company/brands, jobs are everywhere across the country, great job to learn the ins/out of retail.

    Cons

Is extremely difficult to get promoted because there are a lot of people applying for a limited amount of jobs. It also seems like the best reps aren’t always promoted. It can be so difficult to get promoted that a lot of great reps end up leaving the company. If you do get promoted, you have to move.

Sometimes we feel like we are given incorrect information and/or information that changes without giving us any notice making us look less credible in stores.

I have been working at The Hershey Company full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Laid back environment with flexible schedule options to accommodate unexpected life surprises. Hours are good and there is a system in place to show appreciation to your fellow employees for something they helped you out with.

    Cons

Consistantly promote undeserving people and seem to always choose the incorrect person to put in charge. Company seems to be heading in a stagnant direction with very little growth, and therefore reorganizes all the time.
