    Pros

    Work with some intelligent people, not too rigid an organization

    Cons

    bureaucratic, low compensation for contractors, some staff do not add value to the projects

    - exposure to international events and high-level decision makers - global resources useful for career development - a variety of talented people that you can learn from

    Cons

    - too big to feel ownership - difficult to develop a specialized skill - hard to transit into the private sector

    Pros

    This position gives you flexibility, and you have to travel constantly, which is excellent if you want to explore different countries and cultures.

    Cons

    Limited opportunities to work as a staff. A bureaucratic organization which makes it very inefficient when it comes to project implementation.

    Pros

    Great place to work in international development if you are a full time staff. Best place to learn about international development and make a change.

    Cons

    For consultants, it should be considered as a stopgap . There is job insecurity, work authorization visa insecurity etc..

    Pros

    It's a great place to work for international development. However, its only great if you are staff. This is not the best place to be if you are a consultant.

    Cons

    There is no job security or stability for consultants.
