So many people in the VP/Exec role because they move their buddies up but never out - all of them have been there for 10+ years. So many 'account managers' - the key strategy has always been to massage existing clients and never actually compete with good agencies.
Less than half the company is actually producing strategy and work. I could be the only person out of six on a client call who would actually develops an ad campaign or website.
CEO is a complete airhead, detached from the work, only 'works' on theories. Execs will happily make fun of him behind his back.
Work actually produced is dull and uninspiring. They refuse to sign clients outside of farm space so everything becomes monotonous dribble then creatives try to pretend brashness and sexuality is the best way to connect with conservative family farmers.
