I worked at Treasury Casino & Hotel (Less than a year)

    Pros

It was a good working environment, management knew what they were doing and how to sort out problems between employees and customers. The pay was decent.

    Cons

The minimum shift hours for food and beverage were too little, we often do not get as many hours even though we spend multiple days travelling to the city. Scheduling also always messed up with rostering.

I worked at Treasury Casino & Hotel part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Food on the breaks
15 minute breaks every hour (Table Games Dealer)
    Laundered uniform

    Cons

Horrible management who encourage bullying culture, appears to go as far as I can see
Bad for your work-life balance when work=life

    Advice to Management

Get rid of those in management who add no value, bully others and are a direct cause of your high turn over rate

    Pros

Good colleagues. Free lunch. No need to wash uniforms etc.

    Cons

Can sometimes be too cliquey amongst staff. Some rude and/or "entitled" customers

    Positive Outlook

I worked at Treasury Casino & Hotel full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Work is flexible and most of management team is kind, great and looking after employees very well.

    Cons

Sometimes the shift is not as desirable. Get to see almost same people every single day and feel bit bored.
Don't reply get public holiday off such as Christmas &anew year period.

    Advice to Management

Some SOP might need to be amended. Shift work could be more suitable depending on every person's different needs (ex for family issues).

    Negative Outlook

I have been working at Treasury Casino & Hotel full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    reasonable pay for unskilled labour

    Cons

Everything. Management treat staff like peasants and enjoy the conflict, they feed on the challenge of "beating staff" and consider the management/front-line staff relationship as a war.

    Advice to Management

the change of management to the new head of table games has completely destroyed any shred of moral that was left

I have been working at Treasury Casino & Hotel part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Easy shifts, 8 hours minimum. Pays alright, do not need qualifications to obtain a job. Just need basic maths knowledge and a bubbly personality. Get to meet very different people from table to table, and the games knowledge can be used for work and travel.

    Cons

Same thing every day. Management can be a bit of an issue, especially lower levels of management. As it is shift work, work/life balance can fly out the window, working opposite hours to the people in your social circle.

    Advice to Management

Be better at organising shifts, and be more flexible at giving weekend shifts to part-time employees. Some times it is quite unfair to have people working 6 weekends in a row and be denied weekends off when applying for time off.
