Pros

- friendly coworkers - location is close to downtown Raleigh and Glenwood

Cons

This place isn’t what it used to be and that’s squarely because of the CEO. Unfortunately, he is not someone you want as your employer due to his neurotic tendencies and inability to keep his word. He has everyone in the office walking in egg shells, fearing for their job security, only to harp on the fact that he doesn’t want to “rule with fear.” This used to be a place I enjoyed coming to, but every day in 2023 has felt unbearably stressful due to the mixed messages constantly being sent out by leadership. The reality is, this company is run by one individual with a posse of “yes-men” who never question his abnormal and irrational decisions. He has a reputation for tearing down his employees and making you question your self worth. Working here has taken an extremely big toll on my self esteem and overall mental well being, and that’s only because of the CEO. On top of that, he believes that no one is truly deserving of their salary and is constantly cutting salaries of those he deems don’t “deserve” it. Majority of the organization, especially for the younger members on staff, are getting paid criminally low wages. Please go somewhere else for employment as you will not grow in your career here.

Pros

401k option is great. There are also a lot of talented, smart people who work here.

Cons

Messaging from the company is often inconsistent. The culture and overall morale experiences som bright spots but has some very low lows. One minute you're being told how important work life balance is. The next minute you're being told the only marker of your worth to the company is the amount of hours you bill. Leadership is inexperienced and there is a serious lack of diversity in all areas. Sadly, this often shows up as a lack of compassion for any situation that hasn't been experienced first hand.

Pros

Flexible hybrid environment Kind employees Location in downtown Raleigh

Cons

During previous years, this company had a nice feel and productive work environment. However, in 2023 I found the working environment to be quite challenging. The CEO's behavior was particularly noteworthy, but not in a positive way. It appeared that the CEO exhibited anxious tendencies, which manifested as an overly controlling and at times, demeaning demeanor. Unfortunately, this seemed to be the norm, and it created a tense and unpleasant atmosphere in the workplace causing people to no longer feel motivated to do their work or even show up to the office. One of the most concerning aspects was the CEO's attempt to instill fear in the employees by threatening their job security, mainly if they did not come into the office. This heavy-handed approach to enforcing office attendance only exacerbated the already difficult situation and created a sense of unease among the team. Furthermore, it was evident that employees were both underpaid and underappreciated. The financial compensation did not reflect the dedication and hard work they put into their roles, and this lack of recognition only added to the frustration within the team. In addition to the monetary issues, there was a lack of appreciation for the employees' efforts. Their contributions were often overlooked, which led to a demoralized workforce.
