I worked at US Navy full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Joining the navy was a great decision and set me up for success on the outside. Technical skills training top notch and the work has real global impact. The people were overall pretty outstanding. It's all in what job you get/take. Push for something technical if you're considering getting in. I'll miss it.

    Cons

Long hours, its a hard job that can take a toll long term.

    Advice to Management

    Depends on your Command.
