Posting reviews on Glassdoor are solely the decision of Unispec's current, past, and prospective employees. To allege that we force our employees to post on Glassdoor is unsubstantiated and misleading. The people who write these reviews either post them themselves, or after they say something great to a peer or manager, we ask if they wouldn’t mind posting on our page in their own words to transparently relay what they had already stated. We take great pride in the investments that we make in our employees and truly care about their satisfaction. This is displayed by our comprehensive benefits (see benefits page) and competitive pay.
We have had over 85% retention company-wide for the past 5 years even with the 3% unemployment in the DC area, so people who don’t like it here can easily find another job if they are not happy. It is very easy to find another job. Our case for demonstrable caring —— Over 40% of our staff have received promotions in the last year alone. We send flowers and gifts every time that we are notified of a death in the family or sickness, we gift paid time off, give spot bonuses (over 10people just in the last month alone), we pay for 50% of Vida Fitness memberships (Vida has told us that this is extremely rare), we have loaned money to our employees numerous times in the 10s of thousands, and we are always, always available where we can be. Showing that we care about our employees has improved performance and promoted professional growth, which is why we take great pride in all that we offer to our personnel. It is unfortunate that this employee is unhappy and chooses to continue to work for a company that they are not satisfied with. This type of attitude does not help our company or the individual excel, which can negatively impact the goals of both parties.
We will continue to strive to offer more services and support to our employees where we can. The other allegations will not be addressed. We have notified Glassdoor that we will seek legal action if continued.
