      Pros

Majority of co-workers are solely there because of the PTO and work life balance. Health insurance is more affordable than other jobs I’ve help.

      Cons

Pay is poor for a University that requires degree for positions. I know supervisors who work for retail companies with no education that at least 6K more than I do. No raises in 3 year yet we continue to have to pay for increasing parking costs on campus and increases in general costs. Little opportunities for growth and development. Lack of training, and communication between departments. Lack of support from HR. Lack of recognition.

      Pros

Love my colleagues Progressive values that align with my own Dynamic academic community Work-life balance strongly supported Excellent benefits

      Cons

Low pay, disgruntled employees - I wish the excellent benefits and work environment were enough. With an advanced degree, the pay must be higher.

      Pros

      Good benefits, generous time off

      Cons

Unfair wages across the colleges. Admin assistant in CAS starts $5 less per hour than admin in COM. It's also very difficult for an admin to move "up".
