Constant redundancies & higher ups treated like royalty

The people - genuinely a lovely bunch of staff who made it an enjoyable place to work.
Cons
Management team treated like celebrities and I think they started to believe they are too. Every year they spend a fortune on a lavish Christmas party, a month after making dozens of redundancies. The rest of the staff usually get a £25 tesco voucher as a christmas gift and are told they arent allowed a party due to budget. Meanwhile VIP's having a 2 day christmas party, in a 5 star hotel, with their partners invited. They don't want a 'them v us' culture, yet they inspire one in many ways. Redundancies happen every single year, often multiple times. Employees are hired, used, and cut once they have got what they need out of them. The real, hardworking people of the company who keep their heads down are very rarely rewarded. Meanwhile people who do the bare minimum but are loud about it are treated like heroes.
