The pay and commission scale is awesome. Co-workers usually great from store to store and management does a good job caring. Huge company so lots of room for horizontal movement depending what field you want to end up in.
Cons
Customers can be ridiculous and rude sometimes. Vertical movement up the chain of the company can be more about who you know and not what you know.

Good pay for retail. Fun and interesting Job. Nationwide company.
Cons
Verizon Wireless had a habit of promoting the best salespeople to managers. This lead to managers who were young without experience and with major ego's. Verizon would typically change for the sake of change. They loved saying how much they changed, I don't think they even knew why they changed things. Typically in a year, you'd have 3-4 major policy changes affecting us. At the end of the year one would still be in place. This was common over my 6 years with the company.
