    Pros

    -Awesomely decent pay
    -Friendly co workers
    - Flexible regarding study timetables, family commitments and such
    -Really chill atmosphere

    Cons

Really can't think of any, other than the shifts are ridiculously late sometimes, which I really can't see a reasonable justification for. Other than that, top employer and great management.

I worked at Verizon Wireless full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The pay and commission scale is awesome. Co-workers usually great from store to store and management does a good job caring. Huge company so lots of room for horizontal movement depending what field you want to end up in.

    Cons

Customers can be ridiculous and rude sometimes. Vertical movement up the chain of the company can be more about who you know and not what you know.

    Advice to Management

    Shifts are too long.

I worked at Verizon Wireless full-time

    Pros

Good benefits. Good co workers. Best network in the US, so you are truly selling something that has value. Great training program.

    Cons

Management through fear. Unrealistic targets set on very specific KPIs. (Can't we just focus on revenue and profitability?!) Made to feel guilty if taking a sick day.

    Advice to Management

Stop micro-managing and teach sales team to look at the bigger picture. Why sell accessories? To make revenue. Why push data plans? To make recurring revenue. We get it. But why force us to push an 80 year old grandpa into a smart phone, when he clearly states he is looking for something basic? You loseccredibilityvand threaten long-term customer relationships. Find meaningful offerings to provide to segmented markets -- one size does not fit all.

I have been working at Verizon Wireless full-time

    Pros

Awesome work environment, as long as you hit your numbers and goals then you can do whatever you want.

    Cons

Working 6-7 days a week for years at a time gets old real quick. Underpaid, asked for a raise multiple times and no progress. They raise goals by 20 percent at a time without increasing compensation.

I have been working at Verizon Wireless full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Made 80k my first year. Benefits as good as any other company. Position SS

    Cons

Capped commissions. You can destroy your quota but they will cut your check in half with what they call "windfall"

    Advice to Management

Micromanaging doesn't create better sales reps. If anything, it makes them feel pressured & perform worse
