    Pros

    -Awesomely decent pay
    -Friendly co workers
    - Flexible regarding study timetables, family commitments and such
    -Really chill atmosphere

    Cons

Really can't think of any, other than the shifts are ridiculously late sometimes, which I really can't see a reasonable justification for. Other than that, top employer and great management.

I worked at Verizon Wireless full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The pay and commission scale is awesome. Co-workers usually great from store to store and management does a good job caring. Huge company so lots of room for horizontal movement depending what field you want to end up in.

    Cons

Customers can be ridiculous and rude sometimes. Vertical movement up the chain of the company can be more about who you know and not what you know.

    Advice to Management

    Shifts are too long.

I worked at Verizon Wireless full-time

    Pros

Good benefits. Good co workers. Best network in the US, so you are truly selling something that has value. Great training program.

    Cons

Management through fear. Unrealistic targets set on very specific KPIs. (Can't we just focus on revenue and profitability?!) Made to feel guilty if taking a sick day.

    Advice to Management

Stop micro-managing and teach sales team to look at the bigger picture. Why sell accessories? To make revenue. Why push data plans? To make recurring revenue. We get it. But why force us to push an 80 year old grandpa into a smart phone, when he clearly states he is looking for something basic? You loseccredibilityvand threaten long-term customer relationships. Find meaningful offerings to provide to segmented markets -- one size does not fit all.

I have been working at Verizon Wireless full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It’s one if not of the best places to pay high dollar for customer service call centers. The insurance its awesome. The 4O1K matches 6% ( it’s the highest I’ve seen). The bill discount (50%). The working atmosphere. Growth opportunities, etc

    Cons

The schedule changes every 6 months and you have to bid for it. You may not get what you want, however they all have their good and bad. Also vacation time availability.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you’re doing.
