I have been working at Versent (Australia) full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    - Great leadership team and genuinely care about their people. For this statement to be said there are evident actions that they do that doesn't get public publicity. - Your ideas are heard - if you are one to refine and likes to be heard, the leadership team are always open to suggestions and changes if its for the better. - Transparency - No one in the company are left behind when it comes to updates about the company (we get updated every quarterly). No questions are out of bound and no leader are out of reach.

    Cons

    - Processes are still scaling and continuing to be refined. You must be adaptable to be in this environment

I worked at Versent (Australia) full-time

    Pros

    done done and done done

    Cons

Ask the question; how many GM's have been in positions and since left or fired within 6 months in the past. Bet they can't give an answer because the count goes way too long. There is always jobs advertised because people are always leaving.

I worked at Versent (Australia) full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

TLDR; Strong future ahead for Versent. They're tackling a lot of the issues that come with growing a company as quick as Versent has grown at the moment, I would love to go back one day. - Work with a great bunch of people who really care about what they do - Working through the growing pains, tackling a lot of the issues head on - Hard to find a company that holds as much excitement as Versent does. - Probably the most authentic environment I've ever worked in. Could always be myself, especially around the Founders

    Cons

    - Took too long to move on known problems, in particular in Melbourne. - Some people still at Versent hold onto how it used to be, which is an impossible thing to retain. Can lead to some culture fractures that aren't really there.

I have been working at Versent (Australia) full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great and wonderfully talented people work at Versent, some of the brightest stars I've met in my career. A willingness to care and listen to and for each person. The company has weathered the pains of dramatic growth and come out the other side, I have no doubt in the company's likelihood to succeed. Versent support some of the largest companies on the planet. The potential impact of implementing AWS best practices with prolific client reach is unique to Versent.

    Cons

Like any company with differing areas of focus, you may find your perfect fit in a different area than where you work. With the realities of helping clients you may be engaged in a position or area for some time. In a company filled with talent, the opportunity to find your spot may take patience.

I have been working at Versent (Australia) full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    - Top-level leadership inspires a lot of confidence -- response to COVID-19 has been very transparent and demonstrated that people are a priority - Very few obstacles to "getting it done" -- if you know what you need, just reach out and you can make it happen, people are outcome-focused - People are quick to recognise if you're clever and know what you're doing -- which encourages and enables initiative-taking - Lots of interesting things happening, I think the Versent strategy is appropriately diversified along the services-products spectrum which feeds into interesting opportunities internally. You want in on something, pipe up! - Healthy pragmatism about working with enterprise -- doesn't pretend it is always roses

    Cons

    - Less structure can make engagement with company less accessible as a new starter, not more ("who's who in the zoo" probably feels comfortable for long-timers, but can be an obstacle for new-starters) - Fluid and dynamic environment can make expectations unclear (can be hard to feel and demonstrate you are operating at or above your level if the levels aren't established clearly) - Ongoing onboarding and mentoring could be formalised better (have started receiving feedback that I am demonstrating "the Versent way" -- great -- but not sure I really learnt what that is) - Coaching could be more formalised (I joined from a products background to learn about consulting and it felt like there was a lot of assumed knowledge. "squeaky wheel gets the oil" -- if you're not squeaky the oil can might not be seen again very often)

I have been working at Versent (Australia) full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Fast pace of change when something isn't working, maturity in delivering outcomes, social engagements for staff, great salary, deep understanding of customer relationships/outcome delivery by the executive team, constant and regular communications from the executive team.

    Cons

Structured approach for GTM meaning we have some amazing ideas but without central direction/ownership (not a hard criticism). Workload can be immense when everyone is busy meaning 'jack of all trade' personalities are required at Versent to be successful. Semi dedicated presales would help to keep up with demand, which is stretched thin (also not a hard criticism just a monitor/adjust focus area).

I have been working at Versent (Australia) full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Refreshingly honest and transparent leadership. A culture of learning where technical skills are highly valued. A workplace where people are highly valued and really put first. A committment to delivery for customers and getting outcomes.

    Cons

Very dymanic and fast paced, if you want lots of structure and very clear roles and responsibilities then probably not the place for you.

I have been working at Versent (Australia) full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    - Fast pace and dynamic environment, things move or change incredibly quickly. There are people that thrive in this environment, but could be a con for others - You get to work with some amazing individuals who are super passionate about what they do - You get to work with great technology and solve some wicked problems - Getting stuff done takes priority over bureaucracy and politics

    Cons

    - Your experience will be heavily subject to your configuration: your engagement, your team and your leader - it can vary significantly - In the pursuit of customer satisfaction, sometimes things can go too far, to the detriment of our people (overworked) or commercials - You are siloe'd within your particular region or projects - there is little opportunity or bandwidth to collaborate internally. I have heard this be a concern at all levels, its tough one to crack
