I worked at Virgin Australia Airlines full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The people are great, the layovers with crew, the pay is good if work your days off, opportunity to be acting supervisor, flexibility in roster swaps. In my days we had it good and were flying both international and domestic

    Cons

Minimum rest is hard on the body. Layover facilities have gone down in standards. Its' also very hard to move into a Supervisor role due to management processes. Also hard to get annual leave. Prepare to sacrifice your family events, Christmas and New Years etc.
