    Pros

Short haul the crew are nice, the hotels are nice. Nice to be warm when cold at your home base.

    Cons

Long days. Rosters all over the place.not enough crew in short busy flights. The should have 5 crew per flights.

    Advice to Management

Have more crew in flights so there is time to engage with the passangers

I worked at Virgin Australia Airlines full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - meet lots of amazing crew and guests - 6 weeks of paid leave per year - it can be fun and rewarding

    Cons

    - long working days - busy - crewing change your roster, flights, hotels, layovers, crew all the time. You never know one day to the next - shifts are all over the place - some mean cabin managers, crew and managers in general - exams to study for all the time, and they are really difficult

    Advice to Management

Be nicer to the crew, we are just humans doing our best

I worked at Virgin Australia Airlines full-time

    Pros

The culture is great at Virgin. Full of very passionate people genuinely engaged in doing great work in a truly dynamic environment. The staff benefits are also awesome

    Cons

Hard to find a downside! Airlines are a 24/7 operation so it can sometimes be hard to truly switch off. The pace is intense, so people can burn out.

    Advice to Management

Protect and grow/evolve the culture and keep hiring passionate, talented people! Being conscious and realistic about the pace of the business is important to advise candidates of when they sign up.
