    Cons

I worked at Virgin Australia Airlines for more than 3 years

    Pros

The only positive would be the people. The benefits are overrated and have actually been scaled back.... don't get caught up in the wow factor of cheap flights, theyre usually always full and you get bumped.... Keep in mind VA pays 15-20% below market so really you're better off taking the extra money and you can buy yourself a business class seat anywhere

    Cons

Management are a joke. They dont have a clue what happens in the office. Spending by office staff is ridiculous and then cabin crew wonder why they cannot get a pay rise - there is your answer the excessive spending at HQ Management make up lies as well, outsourcing IT staff due to "necessity" yeah right. The IT budget is so bloated no wonder you have to outsource. THE CIO is the biggest joke to have hit the company bringing all his cronies on board and then making long time staff redundant and outsourcing the rest We have a HR team that is so full of themselves preaching Virgin Values yet realistically they all fight for themselves, the whole VA family can be quite political. The place is filled with gossip queens and people who make so much stories up especially within the IT division. They all talk if they have your wellbeing at heart but really its just usual management spiel just to talk the talk but 0 action
