I worked at Würth full-time for less than a year

    Pros

There isn’t many pros for working for wurth. The system on the iPad is probably the only good thing.

    Cons

Absolutely disgraceful how they treat their staff money wise. They are wolves in sheeps clothing so don’t believe everything you are told when they are making their promises. 45000 a year before tax. They tell you your making 65000 but that’s including the car that you have for 5 years. Never have I worked for such a poor wage in my entire life. Glad I walked away. It’s good if you live at home with Mum and dad or are a school leaver. Prices of products are way over priced so you have to drop the prices to be competitive and you then loose your commission hence the reason my area had 5 reps in 2 years. Couldn’t even help me out when I was on monthly pay and had absolutely no money what so ever to live and had to get a credit card to buy food for my house. Got all these bonuses and lost my bonus and coms to tax and ended up with $7 for my effort. Worst company I have ever had the displeasure of working with.

    I worked at Würth

    Pros

Exposure to door to door selling. Big brand with some unique products. Company Car. Mostly autonomous role

    Cons

Drastic price rises block the ability to earn commission. Some shocking middle management in Melbourne with no idea. Pretending all geographical areas have the same potential for sales regardless of socioeconomic status. All lot of poor quality Chinese products being branded as German, particularly in the battery and air tool range. Not a great deal of support from internal staff, more of an "us and them" approach to sales staff. A lot of money seems to be spent on parties and a lavish drinking culture for senior management and internal staff. Rewards in the wrong areas and a lack of integrity. An extremely low base of $40k

I have been working at Würth

    Pros

having a car a fuel card and being able to claim some expenses apart from that there isn't anything else as good people don't last long

    Cons

terrible pay, any reason not to pay you commission or bonus, restrictions on the amount of private travel you do in the company car, unrealistic targets, constant harassment, tracking your every move through your ipad and phone, and answer why you spend so much time at peoples places, at review time they sit you by yourself and then two people harass you into agreeing to there way and you work way more hours than what they tell you

    I worked at Würth

    Pros

Caring, family orientated business. Hands on and highly visible CEO. Organisational ability is developing.

    Cons

Promotions based on tenure not talent. Office staff spends profits on parties while sales reps work hard for small commissions. Revolving door of sales reps (~30%) turnover. New employees are from bottom of the barrel. Sales starting salary is $40k + super + commission (5-10k pa) + phone + car = rubbish for the exp. required.

I have been working at Würth full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

many great people work within the company but unfortunately not many stay long

    Cons

Very poor wages, promises of good commissions but rarely earned, if you can grow a sales territory at Wurth you are a really good salesman and can earn double the pay at any other job.
