I have been working at Weatherford full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Good for getting entry level position Good products and technology. i am struggling to find 20 good words to meet the minimum of thi section, so this is filler ☺

    Cons

Beyond believable process bureaucracy Management have no clue what is happening in their business, they just watch P&L. Barely any training or support. Constant attempts to increase workloads significantly without increasing pay No attempt to lift the very dire level of morale on global, regional or local level. Titles which do not carry over to rest of OFS companies resulting in being pidgeon holed in position. Payrises.. what are they.

I have been working at Weatherford full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Full time employment. 15/13 roster. Accommodation provided.

    Cons

Travel to and from work in your own time (drive approx 6hrs to base) then be expected to be fit for work. No compensation for travel. No training. You are expected to know everything with no or minimal training. Go out and work and do as the other guy does is how it works. No continual development, no continual updates of policies etc. Bad pay for the position, below industry standard. No annual leave to be taken, need to get opposite number to cover if one wants more time off. Then you owe time back. No support or very minimal and still expected to get the job and repairs done with no money or anything else available at short hand.

I have been working at Weatherford

    Pros

Has lots of nice programs, software, products, etc. One of the major 4 service companies albeit at the bottom of that list. Pay can be higher than other companies to help compensate for the Cons.

    Cons

Does not recognize the value of its employees. Lack of systems, processes, controls, employee development, pay reviews. Lack of employee mentoring, development and motivational measures.
