I worked at Westpac Group part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Extremely supportive environment, fantastic employee discounts on lots and lots of different things, overall fairly fun, opportunity to empower customers with gifts, challenging and rewarding

    Cons

Performance scored by customer feedback which can often be indirect / about Westpac as a whole (for example interest rates) which obviously we do not set

I worked at Westpac Group full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great salary, work ethic. Scope of progression but only if you can do lot of buttering. Took the career break and never provided with a clear picture what is going to happen next. Tried many jobs afterwards with in the same bank with more than 7year experience. Saying regretfully you are not quiet there yet. It is double standard of the company. Saying something else and doing something else.

    Cons

Hard work less appreciate, target pressure. Too many mornings and afternoons meetings at the end feels like I am a robot. No real human.
