I worked at Westpac Group full-time

    Pros

the company has great training on the companies people express elearning platform , however if your a newstarter you need someone to guide you through it most of the time this never happens like many other processes that have online maps but no one to guide you. Great uniform and offices.

    Cons

    - little to no support due to lack of experience in team leaders role -micro management to the max making it harder to achieve targets -too many RB systems and unnecessary doubling up of record keeping hindering work progress and making workers feel like they are peeling potatoes in the navy as corporal punishment. -targets for smaller branches not adjusted according to the customer base making targets unrealistic and unbelievable thus never receiving a bonus at these branches and being micro managed is bad for staff moral and unfair.

    Pros

    - regular hours - Some work perks like fee waiver on credit card

    Cons

    - Very political and hierarchical. A culture of Lords and Selfs - Salary and opportunities dependent on who you boss is. good boss good other not good. Its not consistant. Bonuses are not common either or very small. - Salary growth poor. eg. In 10yrs have received 0% growth for most of them.

I have been working at Westpac Group full-time

    Pros

Great working environment, supporting management (mostly). Big organization and has lots of career opportunities. Work life balance is mostly good with a few exceptions.

    Cons

Some systems are outdated and probably need a change. Mediocrities are well accepted with in the organization. Focus should be on process and system improvement.
