I have been working at Wipro full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Process Oriented company and provides good work life balance

    Cons

In some of the large accounts ethnics politics make it bad place to work

  2. "Good company to start a career or join as an experienced."

I worked at Wipro full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Good company to start career. Good payer when you join as experienced and can negotiate hard. Good number of projects in Australia. Different technologies (however you will struggle to change from one to another). Good company to work as a couple (as one partner can influence many things for the other). If you can talk more than you work, this is the company. It is even better if you can only talk.

    Cons

Everyone has to deal with a lot of politics in day to day life. Some people get good position without any real experience just because of their vocal presence. Bad work life balance. People are not sensitive and neither expected to be sensitive. If you are a fresher and continuing beyond 5 years in Wipro, please reconsider this as your salary is very less than your friend from outside and not much hike for Indian employees in Australia(unless you are good in negotiation). If you are like 'work hard' or 'mind your own business' kind of person, you will not get much benefit and struggle in very basic things.

    I worked at Wipro full-time

    Pros

    - In a smaller team like mine, you will get plenty of opportunities to demonstrate and hone your skills - Decent work/life balance

    Cons

    - Salaries are relatively low - Makes sense to work, only in the major hubs (Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad & Pune). Presence in the north and exposure/opportunities quite limited

I worked at Wipro full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

None. No work life balance. Not recommended.

    Cons

Not a good place to work. Too much politics. Manager's do a lot of partiality between people. Career growth chances and customer satisfaction has diminished due to selfish manager's. Project managers just care about billings and ignore employees and clients dissatisfaction. I will never ever join this company again.

    Pros

I worked at Wipro full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

There are great leaders at the top and they are very inspiring.

    Cons

Company's ethics are just on paper and it really does not reflect on field. Management does not approve leaves for onsite employees. They expect employees to work 24/7 leading to zero work life balance.
