I worked at Woolworths Group part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Decent pay and flexibility for nightfill positions

    Cons

Where do I start? Terrible company culture. Almost every store manager (including some other managers too) I came across exhibited sociopathic behaviours. Pervasive culture of favouritism and cronyism across all departments. Constant gossiping. Every Nightfill manager did 10-15 hours unpaid overtime each week like it was the norm. I'd rather clean the Flinders Street Station toilets for $15/hr than work nightfill again. During the COVID-19 pandemic they'd put up 'Zero tolerance to abuse' on the walls and BS 'R U OK' days but happily abuse staff behind closed doors. I'm sure the media could do a case study on the horrendous treatment of staff at supermarkets.
