I have been working at Woolworths Group part-time

    Pros

The people (occasionally), the fast paced environment, the opportunities to grow if you show you’re willing and able to.

    Cons

Shifts go super slow especially on front end. The pay could be way better for part time which is the most common employment type. And the discount is alright, depending on the circumstances. Good for BWS and Big W use.

  6. "Bad promotion culture"

    3.0
Current Employee - Customer Service Supervisor in Melbourne

I have been working at Woolworths Group full-time

    Pros

Easy job when you have enough staffs to work with

    Cons

Promotion not based on merit, likely based on closeness with boss, if they like to work with you. Hardwork not guarantee promotion, being lazy not a reason to get sacked, even you can get promoted if you know how to bond :(

Opportunity to advance and learn new skills if you have the right attitude, very fair pay as well as things such as leave and holiday pay, flexible

    Cons

You will rarely be acknowledged for doing your job well or exceeding expectation but can be pulled up for the smallest mistake. You can also be thrown into different roles with minimal training
