    Pros

Great place to work. Good benefits including stock bonus, 401k, health and dental benefits. People are really good to work with and very helpful

    Cons

There are no real cons that I would say will make this a bad place to at. As with any startup there are some growing pains

    Pros

Good place to work and grow as there is a huge market opportunity and the general trend to move to cloud in the industry.

    Cons

Not bad place to work but pay could be below industry standard especially in the Bay Area. There are lot of growing pains

    Pros

Management is reasonable. That is key. The folks I work with want to see me succeed. Pay is great. Company culture is fun, young, and energized. Benefits are AMAZING. You are never expected to work more than 40 hours - unless you need to meet a deadline, which you'll be doing at any job. (VERY VERY RARE) Unlimited time off for salaried employees.

    Cons

A lot of stock bonuses - which some see as a con. However the company is continuing to grow and not a single one of us are concerned about the value of our stock.

    Pros

Great team. Got along with everyone and showing up to work was easy. Management made it an emphasis to have regular sit downs with you to go over your career progress.

    Cons

Corporate formatting to advancement. No matter what, advancement was based on time-spent at the company, not results. But I saw many of my peers stick it out and end up getting the promotion they were looking for.

    Pros

People, raw intelligence, product, integrity, collaboration over competition, snacks (would be nice to have slightly healthier options). Absolutely LOVE the SF office. Has a lot of comradery and feels more like a starup. Pleasanton can get pretty corporate and stuffy.

    Cons

Our IT choices around content management systems and communication platforms are atrocious. I've been working for many months and I am still finding all these pockets on information. If someone just put together a packet of information and had videos with executives and SMEs (no need to spend weeks scripting - just get them on camera!) There are 10 different communication applications and I have to have about 6 applications on at all time (confluence, workspace, chatter, slack, skype, jabber, outlook etc etc). Just pick one collaboration / content management / learning system (maybe build it into Workday?) and stick with it!

    Advice to Management

Continue to take time to mentor up-and-coming talent and break down red-tape and silos. Better onboarding (especially technical) for those not in sales or engineering. Even thought I'm not an engineer I support paying / providing more RSUs to developers as we need to hire and retain the best talent.

    Pros

Great Company, Fun Events, Snacks, smart people to work beside with good ideas. Dave and Aneel are great leaders and well respected.

    Cons

VP/Director- Favoritism. Lack of Support. Makes the job harder. Decisions are made from the top down without input from the team. Add confusion and complicate things. Have created a culture of fear.

    Advice to Management

Conduct departmental management survey with employees covering all levels of management with protection from retaliation. Workday's management should represent the company culture.

Great software with a wonderful narrative to accompany the classic underdog story.

    Cons

Trying to run a team in Toronto from the U.S. Rarely -if ever - works.

    Advice to Management

Hire local successful Canadian Talent to manage and lead.
