      The culture at Zoom is indescribable. Leadership truly cares about you and your family. Unlimited PTO

      Cons

      Long hours during the pandemic, but would not consider this a major con as we are making a difference in the world.

      Pros

      Culture is the best and people here are always happy to help others. You can hone your skills as it’s flexible management here and you will always find some area you are interested in internally to up skilling and improve. Work life balance that Zoom always cares employees.

      Great company Good culture Great top level management - very inclusive and diverse The company really listens to customers and staff

      This is a double-edged sword : so many changes and things happening all the time. It's hard to keep up! You tend to work a lot and if not careful can be burnt out.

      Pros

      - Market leader with frequent updates and innovation - Massive market awareness and most clients love us - Overall competitive package when factoring in RSUs - Great sales tech stack - Unparalleled commission and perks structure, better than I've seen at any tech company - High hiring standard means most colleagues are capable, smart and helpful - Mostly realistic ramp period and targets, though this appears to be changing a bit with the Zoom Boom - Extremely flexible and accommodating with COVID - Massive focus on creating a helpful, caring and inclusive team culture at all levels of the company - Frequent gifts, events and surprises - Excellent online knowledge base, takes two seconds to find an answer for a customer most of the time - Massive flexibility to approach deals the way you want with minimal red tape or quota retirement penalties

      Cons

      - Not necessarily a con, but life at Zoom is extremely fast paced and it may be hard for some to keep up - Base salaries are definitely on the low side and could use a review, though the perks, RSUs and commission structure mostly make up for this - The culture is shifting towards a more corporate environment, inevitable with such large growth, but definitely needs to be managed appropriately - Clawback structure needs a fairness revamp. As it currently stands it heavily discourages reps from selling an entire product category. - Marketing needs a boost to combat Teams and raise market awareness of Zoom Phone. General market awareness shouldn't be a rep's job. - Support and sales ops need more resources - CRM needs to be managed better. Lots of duplicate and dead accounts/contacts so territories are distorted. I'd say only about 30% of my accounts can genuinely be sold to. - Currently there doesn't seem to be much ability to move between departments (jumping from Sales to Sales Enablement etc), though initiatives like Zoom Bloom appear to be addressing this

      Pros

      Just watch an interview with our CEO and know that he is the exact same person off-camera. Zoom genuinely cares.
