Pros

BPG has great benefits and rewards those who work hard. They are constantly trying to create a friendly office culture at work. Free lunch, Friday drinks, and parties for pretty much anything. They also recognize a lot of holidays other agencies don't normally give time off for. The Interactive Creative Director is always staying on top of all the trends in the industry and is constantly pushing new technologies. He continuously challenges the status quo. He isn't afraid to start new process and completely reboot the workflow process if need be.

Cons

BPG is not for everyone. The people that succeed at bpg are the ones who are masters of their craft and can handle the pressure. You must have a thick skin and believe in your work because you will be tested. You will be expected to defend your work and decisions you've made creatively, strategically, etc.. As with any other agency in the entertainment business there is always a new pitch.

Some really talented people lost to flawed management

Pros

When I was there, the getting was pretty good. Free lunches catered every day, some really solid people that had worked there for a long time and I felt a potential future there, and I loved the people. Always positive, great motivator, and I loved working with the other people in my department. And then...

Cons

Entire departments would go missing. Poof! Gone, their belongings still on the desk like that show "The Leftovers". Zero explanation. Then someone I'd been working with was just up and told they were no longer needed. More and more people were just sort of "disappeared". No transparency from the upper management. I knew it was my time to go so I found other work, even though many there insisted things were fine. After I left I had friends telling me they hadn't been paid in ten weeks, or horror stories like their insurance was abruptly cut off. I'm glad I got out when I did. I don't think anyone I used to know works there anymore.
