Benore Logistic Systems, Inc. partnered with Michelin to complete battery-electric yard truck demonstrations at Michelin’s Pendleton, SC distribution facility. Units from Orange EV and Autocar were tested in a demanding 24/7 environment, giving Benore valuable insights into performance, charging logistics, and driver feedback. “The results confirmed that electric yard trucks, when paired with fast-charging infrastructure, are a viable alternative to diesel-powered equipment in continuous-use applications,” said Dennis Kunz, Vice President of Revenue Strategy & Operations Development at Benore. This initiative reflects Benore’s commitment to clean freight innovation—validating emerging zero-emission technologies through real-world operations to ensure they meet both customer sustainability goals and productivity needs.
