Congratulations to our newest apprentice linemen! Over the course of three weeks, they climbed more than 800 hours combined, including to the top of a 100 ft. pole. They also completed pole top, bucket and vault rescue training, among other exercises.
For two weeks this past April, employees joined teams traveling to the small, developing country of Suriname in order to train local linemen, improve the safety culture, donate gear and tools, and just help wherever needed. They make this trip annually, and we're proud to support their efforts.
Today we announced the largest clean energy investment in Nevada’s history – A $2 Billion venture to develop more than 1,000 MW of renewable energy and 100 MW of battery energy storage built in Nevada. Construction of the six projects will also create more than 1,700 jobs.

We recently presented our northern Nevada Power of Good $30,000 Giveaway winners with their checks! The funds will help Veterans Guest House, Assistance League Reno – Sparks and TMCC Veterans Resource Center continue offering programs to support local veterans and active duty military
