Company Updates

  • Our Australia team had their First Annual Sales Summit in South Melbourne to talk shop, discuss goals, and work through the objections they have faced so far this year. A few key takeaways for the team were sales techniques to achieve their goals and tips on how to be successful within YETI. This meeting refreshed the team and built excitement for the next quarter. Overall the week was a huge success and they are off to a fresh start!

  • Meet our Badasses of the Week - April Obersteller, Erin McCarthy, and Stephanie Stafford. This Trio leads an exceptional team of over 80 YETIzens. They remain calm and steady during hectic times and supportive and caring in times of need. April, Erin, and Stephanie embody Core Value # 6 - No One Succeeds Alone.

  • As a way to offer YETI employees at HQ more exposure to different areas of our business, we have launched the 2018 Speaker Series. YETIzens met with the Global Supply Planning & SIOP Manager, where she shared her career path and gave more insight into the Supply Planning function at YETI. The Supply Planning team plays one of the most visible and critical roles in ensuring the company has the right products, at the right places, at the right times.

  • Meet our Badass of the Week, Nancy Zhu. Nancy provides support for our China operation and organization. She was masterful in putting together our supplier summit event on short notice. She went the extra mile (Core Value #4!) to make sure our suppliers understood the business and vision of where we are going and even arranged a translator to make sure they didn't miss a moment. Set in a beautiful location that fits our cultural values, the event went off without a hitch. Thank you Nancy!

  • When Hurricane Sandy hit the east coast, all the hard work and heart Billy Durney put toward building his dream restaurant came to an unexpected halt. But that didn't stop this bodyguard-turned-pitmaster from pulling through for his Brooklyn community. He lifted his hometown's spirits with damn good barbecue, and in turn, they inspired his greatest pursuit yet. http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQKwd

  • Meet our Badass of the Week, Callie Cutler. Callie joined YETI in June 2016 as a Customer Service Representative. 11 months later, she took her experience working with customers who were passionate about the products and transferred that energy to the Legal team to help strengthen and protect the brand. She's constantly overcoming new challenges and loves finding ways to stay ahead, exemplifying Core Value #5 - Act With A Sense Of Urgency.

  • Life has a way of putting us where we need to be. For Vala, that’s in both Greenland – where she works at her family’s fishing lodge – and Reykjavík, where she teaches her daughter how to do it all on her own, too. Watch My Mom Vala - http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQWSG

  • Introducing the SideKick Dry. This waterproof gear case is the worry-free way to carry your keys, wallet, fishing license, and phone in the wild. http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQWip

  • Enter to win a trip to fish with legendary angler Flip Pallot along with some awesome gear from Fish Hippie, Hook and Gaff, Z-Man Fishing, and Cablz. http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQff4
