We are building capabilities at the cutting edge of precision medicine, and are looking for a creative, data-driven, Clinical Marketing Manager to help us deliver the promise of precision medicine to patients around the world.
This position is a short-term contract, focused on developing and implementing marketing campaigns that communicate the clinical value proposition of QIAGEN Clinical Informatics Clinical, notably QIAGEN’s recent acquisition of N-of-One. In this role, you’ll develop market programs that maximize awareness, educate and motivate customers, generate demand, and enable sales teams to sell our clinical services effectively for N-of-One’s suite of clinical and pharma-focused solutions. You’ll drive close partnerships with colleagues from product management, global and regional marketing, and sales across all of QIAGEN’s business areas to deliver our products and services into clinical labs worldwide.
This role requires a hands-on marketing professional with solid knowledge of the preclinical genomics marketplace, and a track record for creative campaign development and execution in precision medicine, clinical testing, drug development or digital health industries. You must have fluency with technology product marketing, clinical and scientific concepts, and in-depth knowledge of metrics-driven marketing. You will also possess strong content development, writing, and editing skills, and be able to manage and prioritize marketing programs to meet business objectives.
Position Responsibilities: • Responsible for marketing QIAGEN clinical bioinformatics services to clinical testing labs, providers, payors, and precision medicine initiatives within healthcare organizations. • Design, development, and deliver new and ongoing clinical marketing campaigns for QIAGEN’s N-of-One clinical and pharma product lines, including PR, social media, webinars, advertising, collateral development, conference support, and other online marketing channels based on available assets and marketing priorities • Understands oncology market trends to develop compelling clinical stories, drive awareness, and develop campaign concepts. • Identify and research new opportunities for lead generation/visibility channels • Manage PR and awareness initiatives, including partnering with agencies and vendors. • Maintain existing N-of-One website, and support integration into QIAGEN informatics web properties. • Provide event support for N-of-One and QIAGEN clinical informatics services. • Monitor and analyze marketing activities for best ROI and ongoing improvements. • Communicate, inspire, motivate and inform colleagues in marketing and sales teams.
• 5-7 years of experience marketing bioinformatics or software technology into life sciences or healthcare, with at least 2 years’ experience in the clinical field. • Demonstrated success in delivering clinical marketing programs that drive technology product adoption. • Able to be an individual contributor with primary focus on execution, willing and eager to work in a hands-on capacity • Strong project management skills with proven ability to drive projects to successful completion – on time and within budget – and coordinate work and facilitate work including proven ability to use resources effectively and efficiently • Demonstrated ability to work creatively amidst competing priorities to deliver high-impact sales and marketing programs on time, within budget, and in support of overall marketing strategy and objectives. • Excellent written and oral communication, organization, attention to detail, and documentation skills • Familiarity with best practices for social media marketing, Salesforce.com and Eloqua helpful.
