I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Fragomen (Chicago, IL) in June 2011
Interview
The interview took two hours total with several sets of different groups coming in one after the other. First it was the Client Manager Paralegal and an attorney, then two attorneys, then HR and another attorney, then the managing partner, then the second managing partner, then the attorney that you would be assigned to (maybe), and finally the HR again. Not sure how they would interview someone with no experience, but for someone with a lot of experience they ask you to run through a specific case process. Some interviewers ask you general questions such as "what are your weaknesses?" or "describe a difficult situation at work and how you resolved it." The process never felt difficult, everyone was very nice and engaged.
