Pros

One of the biggest advantages of this role is the flexibility and fully remote work environment. Being able to work safely from home, especially during difficult weather conditions, provides a level of comfort and work-life balance that is truly appreciated. The company also offers comprehensive training that sets employees up for success from the start. Leadership is supportive, professional, and genuinely invested in employee growth and development. In addition, the team culture is outstanding. Everyone works together collaboratively, and there is a strong sense of teamwork and mutual support across departments. It’s refreshing to be part of an environment where people are willing to help one another and contribute to a positive workplace experience.

Cons

Like any position, there are challenges that come with working in the travel industry. During peak travel seasons, workloads can become very demanding with high call and email volumes. Clients may also become understandably frustrated during delays, cancellations, or travel emergencies that are often outside of an employee’s control. Additionally, the industry can be unpredictable due to weather events, global situations, airline disruptions, and changing travel policies, which can create a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.

Pros

Overall great place to work. There is a steep learning curve but once you get it, the role is easy. Good starting pay for the position. Good benefits. Great colleagues and community. Work from home.

Cons

Work-life balance. If you are good at your role, you will be left to pick up the slack from under performing colleagues. Little opportunity for advancement - you must advance to other roles quickly or you will out-earn the salary just from yearly performance increases. Management play favorites. Poor communication.
