CPA or CMA?
My firm has us under a PTO freeze through September. Says the workload is too heavy and no PTO requests during this time will be honored. We can't even put in vacation requests until this freeze ends. How is this legal?
Does anyone here have student loan debt? If so, how much? How old are you, and how long have you been in public accounting? PwC EY KPMG Deloitte
Weird question, I know, please forgive me, but does your office allow you to wear shorts or open toed shoes in the summer? It gets stupid hot here and the fact that we can't wear summertime appropriate clothing in my office is pretty enraging to me.
Has anyone taken a mental health/stress leave and are they paid? I am suffering but can’t afford not having a paycheck.
Who in the hell thought open floor office plans were a good idea? We were pulled from our WFH setups to work in an open floor plan. There is no privacy and I can hear everyone's conversations. It's so hard to focus. Not to mention the smells. Everyone's perfumes, colognes, and lunches merge together and the air is so toxic. How is this setup supposed to improve our productivity?

No one cares about CMA
CPA
CPA crushes all other certifications.
CPA
CPA 8/10 times, manufacturing companies tend to list CMA as an alternative to CPA for requirements.
CPA for sure.
CFA
CPA.. CMA is fine but it’s limited in comparison. Might as well get the more useful one.
CMA will get you a job in accounting. CPA will build you a career or a business of your own.
I see the AICPA marketing team is going their jobs..
Sigh...
The only people who think the CMA has any value are other CMAs, of which there aren’t many.
CPA, the tests seem like an unclimbable mountain but believe in yourself and put the hours in and you’ll be fine easy
CPA all day all night... it would be pretty obvious with the CPA. The tax returns represent the client audits. You could have your own practice. Hell CMA for a company would you rather have cpa?

Others with CMA’s typically have CPA first. I got both just for the clout and it’s helped me with salary negotiations. Otherwise I don’t think CMA is necessary.
CMA is 90% of CPA and is too costly and wont give you benefits more than a CPA does. If I were you, go for CPA or CIA because controls are everything!
