I was put on PIP yesterday and my initial plan is to secure another work but I don't want to let my parents know since they think I'm doing great. I did think I'm doing great despite being put into tiger's den-from facing Tax Season MONTH after being trained. My performance was 4/5 if it were me since some clients take loooong to reply which makes the audit long to finish. They said it's my confidence. I just want to find another job right now. Who in the hell thought open floor office plans were a good idea? We were pulled from our WFH setups to work in an open floor plan. There is no privacy and I can hear everyone's conversations. It's so hard to focus. Not to mention the smells. Everyone's perfumes, colognes, and lunches merge together and the air is so toxic. How is this setup supposed to improve our productivity?

Hearing rumors that the EY Honolulu office may be shutting down. Does anyone have insight into what that could mean for employees based there? Curious whether relocation would be required/covered, if people would move to remote alignment, or if layoffs are typically involved in situations like this.

Need to add a metric of how much of the work is being offshored to India; a country that does not follow US GAAP but are the ones “auditing” US companies.
