You ever work with someone that’s just a straight up hater? You bring forth a great discovery and everyone is giving kudos except that one person. You get a new hairstyle and on the call, everyone compliments the new look except for that one person. In the office, you say hi to everyone but there’s that one person that avoids eye contact instead of just saying hello. Don’t be like this.

Why is it that so many us of hate our jobs in this industry? On paper, it pays pretty well, you get to make stuff and go on shoots etc. It’s not physically gruelling work and it’s not as dull as most office jobs. So what is it that makes us hate it so much? The hours? The creative frustration? The clients?
While I’m sure he’s qualified, a 9 month process interviewing 100+ people for your head of strategy sounds like you’re a nightmare place to work. I want to believe they were respectful of people and let people know right away if they weren’t advancing, but in this industry, that’s too uncommon.
It is totally possible that AI is a massive bubble and the only reason agencies say they are adopting AI is because other agencies are saying they are adopting it and they want to say to clients that they are adopting AI. But nobody is really using these tools in any meaningful way.
Because it was never a choice. The minute you enabled Wallet with a third party platform and shared your personal financial data, you consented to data harvesting. Remember, if a platform is free to use, YOU are the product.
