Thoughts on Hantavirus?
List of the worst of the worst people, those unfit for society: - Those who recline their seats on airplanes - Those who don’t return their grocery carts - Those who listen to audio on speaker on public transport Am I missing anyone?
Would you quit your 160k + traveling Sunday - Thursday job for another one that pays 130k but minimal travel? Traveling so much has been very hard on me / my family.
What age is the best to get married
The key to being promoted (beyond capability) is to be likeable. To be likeable, you need to be relatable. To be relatable, you need to have a wide range of hobbies and interests and appeal to familiarity - eg have kids, watch sports, play golf, etc.
Would you take a pay cut from $205K base to $180K base to go fully remote + can live wherever (from 2 days in office in NYC).
I’m against it
My thoughts ? Drink raw milk , inject sunlight and load up on ivermectin. You can beat any fake virus
ELECTION YEAR!!! BEWARE: The Democrats are psychopaths and they take their orders from the British. The United States 🇺🇸 just destroyed the British's nukes in Iran they will no longer use terrorism to control the price of oil. These people are going to go crazy and try and try to assassinate THE President of The United States 🇺🇸. We're in a 2nd Revolution and The United States 🇺🇸 will win again!!!
Nothing a little perineum sunning won’t fix☀️
Not to be the most horribly morbid person in the world, but very deadly viruses tend to be self-limiting because they don’t spread as far. One reason we don’t have worldwide Ebola outbreaks. And on that cheery note, I’m back to my RFP.
Yeah, killing the host never ends well. Also a bad business model😉
Don’t care in the least. It’s nowhere near as transmissible as Covid or 90% of other viruses.
And, the CDC’s infectious disease dept was decimated by DOGE
Triple masking until further notice
Oh no not again 😥
I guess it depends on where you live - NYC, NJ, CT - you can all go into an unnecessary panic like you did for Covid. Everywhere else in the country, we're not worried about it. It's f'king ridiculous.
I heard someone refer to the cruise ship as “the rat ship from hell”. That’s the most accurate and only way I’ll be referring to it from now on. How are you going to say 23 people got off the boat and flew home one day and not 8 hours later, say oh it’s actually 23-40 people?! And they’re docking in Tenerife on May 9th, all asymptomatic passengers are flying home, however it can take up to 8 weeks before symptoms can start showing?
I’m becoming a TikTok star and influencer if we go back into lockdown 🧑🏻🩰
RIP Gene Hackman. 0/10 do not recommend; but Hantavirus is a known issue where I live and is a big issue in the southwest. When we moved to our current market, the realtor was like basically if a mouse gets in your house, everything it's "presents" touch you throw away, make sure you wear gloves, and use bleach ( like who wouldn't do that anyway) It is an issue, but it is a known issue, which is slightly less concerning. I heard a landfill birdwatching excursion was blamed for the outbreak, but it seems far more likely to me, as it is caused by contact with rodent droppings; that the issue was caused by rodents in the kitchen - Not birds seen in binoculars
RIP Gene Hackman and his wife. The region that they were in doing the bird watching has had hantavirus cases, it’s the southern most area of Argentina if I recall. I believe there were 100+ cases last year, if I have my facts correct. From what I’ve gathered, the Dutch couple were the only ones from the bird watching crew that went to the landfill specifically though. I agree with you, why would anyone go into the landfill vs using their binoculars and why only that couple? Also, did their tour guide go? What happened to that person? I’m more concerned now with the people that left the boat and are not isolating considering we keep finding more about this everyday. “Mild positive PCR test result” from the CDC is also a concerning statement.
It’s got a good beat and it’s easy to dance to 🕺.
I heard the crew at the port doesn’t want anything to do with the ship. I don’t blame them. Glad the flight attendant on KLM is not infected. That would be truly scary.
It should not spread nearly as badly because it is deadly and the symptoms are obvious. Think of it being more like Ebola than COVID. Scary if you get it but very unlikely.
I trust you!
I lived in Southern Colorado during the late '80s early 90s when the Navajo athlete died from an outbreak. Locally very devastating. But from what I understand it cannot turn into a pandemic an epidemic absolutely but a pandemic no it doesn't travel well!
It’s good
As soon as I heard what it takes to get infected I calmed down. Also it’s been around for years compared to covid
Try doing a google search. These are not a ton of Americans going to a buffet at the Golden Corral or whatever. This is a Dutch cruise ship. As a European myself, we don’t really have buffets unless we know it’s a high tourist attraction with Americans in attendance. Do you believe that people are eating with their mouths open over a buffet in very close proximity to each other while licking their fingers and grabbing food directly off the buffet table then putting it back also using licked fingers? I’m really trying to imagine how a potential buffet would work in your theory of “passing saliva”. A French person that was not on the ship but on the St Helena to Johannesburg flight has tested positive; KLM flight attendant who was not on the ship but on the flight from Johannesburg to Amsterdam that the Dutch woman was escorted off of and died the next day is symptomatic but no confirmed test yet; Dutch woman not on ship has tested positive.
Don't get it. What a dumb question
I get PTSD thinking about another pandemic! Crossing my fingers this goes away!
Seek help. Avoid another Plandemic panic. 😱
I'm saying NO to hantavirus. I do not consent to this, and I say no permition.
