Boeing engineering interview tips! Star method seems to be a big one. Any other tips?? Thank you!
How long from your application do you wait before you give up on getting an interview? With all the automated everything these days, why the heck are so many companies ghosting applicants??
Have a second interview Thursday. Definitely not my first rodeo but the longer I go unemployed, the less confident I feel. That being said this company is specifically going to use the STAR interviewing Style. I've done my research on the history of the company, etc but I am finding it so difficult to memorize my answers in the STAR format, I'm going to have to use my notes. Tell me I'm not the only one struggling w/this 🙏🏻
I have a strong interview anxiety. I know I have a great potential because of my work ethic, values, experiences, and qualities as a person. But, how can I prove that to the panel if I'm super nervous and forget what to say at the moment. My anxiety ruins my opportunity to show them that I'm a great fit. I don't know how to overcome this.
What are some tips for a new job seeker coming out of prison with a violent felony expecially in the State of Oklahoma
I've read that the highest number of jobs get posted in Jan-Feb, followed by Sep-Oct. Jun-Aug is the second slowest period, followed by Nov-Dec as the slowest. Sure feels like it to me! You seeing the slowdown, too? Hang in there...

First off, congrats! It can be very difficult to get an interview with Boeing. The fact you have an interview means they believe you can do the job. Remember that if doubts start to creep into your head. My Boeing interview started with a couple typical introductory questions, but the majority were STAR-type questions. Try to think of as many possible questions they might ask and try to choose a unique situation of yours for each response. One situational question Boeing asked was one I hadn't encountered in my career, but I was up front about that and then outlined what I would do if faced with that situation. They left ample time for me to ask all of my questions; in a 1 hour interview their questions took 40 minutes or so. My interviewers were great as well. I was not the chosen candidate, but the hiring manager called me personally to deliver the news and tell me how well they thought the interview had gone. I was blown away as I'm used to getting ghosted or getting the system-generated rejection email after interviews. Overall they treated me very well compared to interviewing with other companies. Best of luck!
Thank you! That's great to hear!
STAR method??
Stop. Think. Act. Review. ?
Ahhh! Ok. In healthcare that’s what STAR stands for. Well at least at my hospital
Congratulations. I would say stay engaged and know your stuff and you’ll be fine. I just had my second round. I’m a Product/Project Manager. First round a recruiter sent me questionnaire. Then a week later the hiring manager reached out. Had an interview with him and then got an email a week later saying I had an interview with him again and his Partner. Had said interview with them. Now just waiting.
What I generally see are people overconfidently going into interviews focused on technical skills but not paying attention to how they talk about their past experiences. If it helps, I had tremendous help in behavioral interviews with this deck which covers the STAR framework as well https://9to5cards.com/product/the-behavioral-interview-deck
