I created a full organised and commented MERN stack application with an EXACT clone of their official website UI of the projects page. Only authenticated user can POST projects and any visitor can GET projects.

I did everything requried the same day as to when I was given the task. My only mistake was creating a fancy UI but hey, should that be a reason for rejection?
