We understand that interviewing is always stressful but regret that you had a negative experience overall. I can state unequivocally that at FDB we only interview candidates when we have an open position and full intent to hire the right person. We host several Web APIs as customer facing products. We also work extensively with a wide variety of other vendors APIs. As such, the technology portion of our interviews often contain generic REST and SOAP questions, as well as questions on specific industry APIs and their implementations, such as FHIR. Questions range from those with simple, non-debatable answers to design level questions that invariably involve opinions and trade-offs that we want to see the candidates speak to and defend.
