Having been in the hospitality industry as a manager for years, I have had plenty of difficult situations. While working as Sous chef at a Microsoft cafe, we once had 3 cooks out on vacation and another 2 called in sick. That day I had to do all of my work, along with that of 2 of those missing employees. During that day, everything got done because I helped to hold the team together with positivity and hard work.
