Yes. I worked out of my home for a professor and researcher at Baylor College of Medicine for several years. There are positive things about working from home, but it is very imperative to stay focused on the job because it is easy to become distracted and make mistakes as well as miss deadlines. A strategic schedule and good time management is the key to success.
