Was not able to answer but i found how it was did later: We primarily focus on backing up the Jenkins home directory because it contains all critical Jenkins metadata, including jobs, pipeline configurations, credentials, plugins, and build history. Depending on the deployment model, we use storage-level backups such as EBS snapshots or EFS backups, along with periodic exports to S3 for disaster recovery. We also test restoration procedures periodically to ensure Jenkins can be rebuilt quickly in the event of infrastructure failure. The objective is not just taking backups but ensuring reliable recovery with minimal downtime.
