Grades are a central topic during an interview process and one of the questions candidates should be prepared to address. I am very understanding when a student's grades take a dip for a variety of issues and will factor that into our decision making process. All a student has to say is they were in a difficult situation which has passed and they are back on track. Interviewing is a stressful process for everyone, however being prepared for challenging questions will help to alleviate some of the stress.
