St Mary’s University interview questions

Online interview begins with a presentation the topic of which was given in advance: Please prepare a short presentation (max 5 minutes) on how you would approach coordinating a project to set up a new Academic Partnership between SMU and a University partner overseas. Then one following question is asked based on the presentation content. Then the panel members asked several questions regarding experience and ability. For example, please describe how you can develop and maintain a productive academic partnership; describe an experience of identifying and resolving risk.

Fair, straightforward. Panel was well chaired and questions were clear and relevant. I was asked to do an initial presentation of around 10 minutes and then 40 minutes of questions.
